The first time I stayed at a bed & breakfast was when my wife and I went on our first anniversary vacation weekend. We knew we wanted to look away, we just were not sure where or may well wanted to do.

The bed & breakfast owners treated us like royalty, waited on us like we were a king and queen, and meal truck (that was included in our purchase price) was simply unbelievable.
Since then my niece and I to be able to to two other bed & breakfasts, one in Williamsburg, VA and another in upstate Nyc near Seneca River. Although the concept of each bed & breakfast were similar, these people different in a variety of ways. For instance in Vermont at breakfast and dinner (both that were included) we sat at your table in the adjoining restaurant. In NY and VA we ate a massive table with each of the other guests. In VA the owners took care of everything, well them and their boys and girls. In NY and VT the owners ran the place but also had help to get rooms ready whilst the place clean. In VT we had our own outside entrance to room as should the room was many of our house. In NY and VA you had your own bedroom in the same house with the opposite guests.
Regardless of whichever style you choose, if you have not stayed at a bed & breakfast you should. 1 was wonderful may really felt familiar were part among the owner’s family when you stayed there.
I would recommend first pick a place where you know you would really like to stay. Anyone like the reams? How about the sun or a tropical island? Once fully grasp what you want to do, then look up the bed & breakfasts in the areas that you might have targeted and start reading up in it. Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other book stores have a wide array of books you can attempt without purchasing to obtain this information. Additionally you can go to check your local library or look to your bed & breakfast directory online.
Once you are supported by the location and motivate it narrowed down to a single or two possible bed & breakfast choices, start pricing them out and pay attention to if they are formed in your budget. I will tell you that may possibly a bit pricier then a normal hotel room (some of them anyway). However verify exactly what amenities you get for your price.
